The cottage was renovated by hand in 2021 and furnished to an extremely high standard. The accommodation consists of a double bedroom, bathroom with shower, fitted kitchen and open plan living room/diner, with a wood burning stove for those cozy evenings. This is the perfect location for exploring the Brecon Beacons, or to relax, unwind and read a few good books.
We are located just off the A40 and right on the bridleway, and only a 5-minute walk to the CAMRA winning, New Inn, which serves locally sourced, home cooked food.
There are lots of things to see and to do during your stay at Henffordd Cwtch, from foraging and falconry experiences, mountain bike adventures, cycling or walking around the beautiful Brecon Beacons, you won’t be at loss for things to do and see.
There are plenty of local walks, including Buckland Hill, and the Magnitude, Altitude and Fortitude walks, please ask for details. Guided walks can also be arranged via pre booking with the nearby Star Bunkhouse. If you’re feeling particularly adventurous why not take a local Alpaca for a walk!
There are loads of attractions and day excursions – all within 10 - 30 minutes of Henffordd Cwtch, so whether you’re after an adventure, some quality time with friends, or a romantic picnic for two, our Explore section will give you some ideas and inspiration of what to see and do during your stay.
