Waste removal and recycling

1. We are keen on recycling here at Henffordd Cwtch and have the facilities to ensure our guests are too. Please rinse out and separate cans and bottles, then put them in the labelled bin outside.

Cars

1. When driving, please approach Henffordd Cwtch cautiously. Beware of people walking along the drive. Parking available.

Heating & Hot water

1. Henffordd Cwtch is supplied with heat and hot water from a centrally located system.

This statement describes the access, procedures and facilities at Henffordd Cwtch, as they might apply to, and for the benefit of persons with disabilities.

We would wish your stay with us to be as comfortable as possible, so please do not hesitate to ask if you have any concerns about access or there is anything that would make your stay more enjoyable.

Although every effort has been made to make Henffordd Cwtch is accessible to as many people as possible this may at times be more difficult for people who are wheelchair bound or with other severe mobility disabilities. Please note Henffordd Cwtch is via a Bridleway, the ground is uneven, entrance (French Doors) is up 1 step.

General Information

1. Henffordd Cwtch is self catering.
2. Mobile phone coverage is good.
3. Public transport. The nearest bus stop - 5 minute walk

Emergency Action Information

1. Smoke detectors and Sprinkler System are fitted in Henffordd Cwtch.
2. Emergency information is detailed in the guest information packs in Henffordd Cwtch, adjacent to all fire fighting equipment, and can be communicated verbally if required.

     3.  The emergency assembly point is in the entrance to the car parking.

Fire risk

Please be aware that your own possessions could be a fire risk.

We request that any personal electrical items in poor condition are not used in Henffordd Cwtch. Also please ensure that electrical equipment that generates heat is not used in a flammable situation. Eg don’t plug phone chargers near waste bins, or place your laptop on the beds.

*Please do not turn off any Fire Safety buttons/switches during your stay

Mobility Access

1. The car park is uneven.
2. Lighting is provided by the main door to Henffordd Cwtch.
3. Access to Henffordd Cwtch is via a stone path.
4. Due to the location of Henffordd Cwtch some of the paths are a little uneven.
5. Henffordd Cwtch (French Doors) entrance is one step
6. Service Entrance (Emergency Exit) is 3 steps

Hearing Impairment

1. There is a TV in Henffordd Cwtch
2. Guests are always shown to Henffordd Cwtch and everything about Henfford Cwtch is explained at that time. *Unless Guests have asked for none meet/keyless access due to COVID-19

Sight Impairment
