With a log burner to toast your weary toes and all the amenities you need to wind-down and relax, you’re sure to feel like a new person in no time.
What was once a rundown housekeepers cottage dating back to the 1890’s, the accommodation has been recently renovated and loving transformed by hand to an extremely high standard, by Kevan and Shirley. This one-bedroom, self-catered cottage is a quiet little slice of heaven. With views across the Black Mountains and beyond, walks on your doorstep and a warm Welsh welcome you’ll find it hard to leave!
There are lots of things to see and to do during your stay at Henffordd Cwtch, from foraging and falconry experiences, mountain bike adventures, cycling or walking around the beautiful Brecon Beacons, you won’t be at loss for things to do and see.
There are plenty of local walks, including Buckland Hill, and the Magnitude, Altitude and Fortitude walks, please ask for details. Guided walks can also be arranged via pre booking with the nearby Star Bunkhouse. If you’re feeling particularly adventurous why not take a local Alpaca for a walk!
